Arizona’s Medicaid program continues to lead the U.S. in providing cost-effective, high-quality services to people with developmental disabilities, according to a national survey.
United Cerebral Palsy’s state rankings, released Thursday, put Arizona first overall for the fifth time in the survey’s seven years, owing largely to the state’s nearly universal use of home-based services for people with developmental disabilities and its managed-care model, which both help keep costs down.
