Employee Appreciation Month: 3 Ways Our Employees Are True Rockstars
At RISE Services, Inc., we cherish our employees. We know their work can be challenging at times, but we also know they thoroughly enjoy making a difference in the lives of those they serve. There are several reasons why we believe we have some of the best employees working in our organization. We’d like to highlight three of those reasons and express our gratitude for how they live the mission of RISE – creating opportunities for and with people.
1. Impact People On a Larger Scale
Foster care, residential services, and family preservation support are simply a few of the services our employees provide for our families. When working with a foster child, not only are they impacting that child but also their parents or guardians, their foster care families, and their school support team. Through around-the-clock care at one of our group homes or independent living homes, we offer a safe and nurturing environment for our clients as well as reassurance for their families that they are receiving the best possible care.
2. Give Back to the Community
Not only do our employees deliver essential services to children with special needs or individuals with disabilities, but they also give back to their community as a whole. With our Therapy for Developmental Disabilities program, we work alongside parents and guardians to provide occupational, physical, or speech therapy, and also collaborate with other primary care providers in the community to support the child’s overall well-being. By helping individuals with disabilities find meaningful work, our staff provides workforce support to state, city, and county offices.
3. Enjoy a Career & Help People
One of the things we’re most proud of here at RISE is the ability to offer a meaningful career path that allows our employees to truly help people. Many of our employees have expressed that they love working with an agency that creates opportunities for and with people.
