From outside, a RISE Residential home looks like every other house in the neighborhood. Inside the home live adults with disabilities receiving care that is specific to their needs from RISE professionals. Since RISE always applies a “person-centered philosophy” in the care they provide, residents are encouraged to make choices in their daily routines, their roommates and staff and the goals they would like to achieve.
RISE staff receives ongoing, extensive training on the individual’s goals and ways to encourage their growth and independence. Our focus is on what they can do and not on their limitations. Many RISE residential clients also participate in our day programs or are able to obtain jobs through our Employment Services.
