RISE Services for People with Disabilities in Oregon
RISE is an innovative, non-profit, human services network that was originally established in 1987 to help move individuals living in institutions into family settings. Since that time, our services have grown to support children, adults, and families with a variety of needs across multiple states. We are happy to say that our team at RISE Oregon works extremely hard for those in our care.
We want families everywhere in Oregon to feel confident and comfortable in trusting us with their unique needs. We give the people we serve the opportunity to live the life they imagine for themselves by providing a variety of home and community-based services for children with mental health challenges, adults with developmental and other disabilities, and aging adults.
Oregon Employment Services
Because we believe that everyone should be able to explore their own capabilities, RISE Employment Services works to create job opportunities for our clients. Our team of professionals helps adults with disabilities find and maintain meaningful job situations. We find employment that fits the capabilities, preferences, and schedule of the people we serve, and create pathways for participation in integrated employment in a workplace in the local community. The goal is that our clients will learn independence, so they can fashion a world in which they can exert some control over their own future.
Oregon Family Services
At RISE Family Services, we believe that growth and opportunity for people with disabilities happens best in a stable, loving family setting. We work with families to create stability and opportunity for adults and children. This path can create many challenges, so we offer behavioral support, attendant care, and family training which helps families and caretakers create a positive support environment. Our services may include companionship, assistance with activities of daily living, and familiarization with community interactions.
Oregon Residential Services
RISE Residential Services in Oregon provides some adults with disabilities the opportunity to live and work with a high degree of independence. They may only need some extra help and guidance, while others will have the most growth and opportunity in a more supportive group home setting. We work to create an individualized care plan based on each individual’s capabilities instead of trying to fit our clients into some type of predetermined plan.
We work with our clients and their family to provide services that allow for maximum independence and quality of life.
